My favorite educational method is watching videos, but you can attend webinars, listen to audio training, or visit the many discussion forums. One of the newest and most popular would be social networking on Facebook or Twitter. Most of this training and valuable information is FREE.
Another valuable and very effective technique for driving traffic to your website is the landing page. An effective landing page can quickly build a targeted email marketing list. This is the best and most effective way to get those customers to your website that actually is interested in what you have to offer in the first place. It is also invaluable to future marketing efforts if you have a new product or eBook to offer in the future. The most successful work from home businesses is those that get the most targeted traffic. Targeted traffic is a customer who comes to your page and expects to be there.
It is important to educate yourself on every aspect of running and maintaining your website, but after things are set up and running in your home business, you need to narrow your focus to marketing and traffic. Think of it as building a body. It is healthy and looks good, now give it its blood and you will be running a marathon to a bigger and better future for your home business.
