Gaming and Casino gambling is the ultmate big business….no more illegal mobster dealings. They have all cleaned up their acts and incorporated themselves. They are a legitimate business now. Casino gambling has been the big rage for an entire century and it shows no sign of slowing down. As with many activities that man is involved with there are many facets to gambling. In Texas, if you buy one of their scratch-offs, you are helping to educate the school children in that state. When the legislators decided to legalize that form of gambling in the state, you see casinos are a no-no in Texas, the public was led to believe that a majority of the funds would go toward education. This did not prove to be the case. The students might net a measely twenty percent. However, big money is being made from scratch-offs. Who are the losers? What are your chances of winning from scratch-offs? It’s unbelievable odds.

Yet, underpriviledged, sometimes undereducated, individuals seem to spend a disproportionate amount of money on scrath-offs. Vegas is bigger and better than ever. Yes it controlled by the people once called the Mafia. The money left at the gaming tables and in the slot machines on any single day could rebuild New Orleans. More than 65 million peole participated in this sport yes, consider it a sport, last year here in America. Around the world there were Canadians, Mexicans, and just about every nations’ citizens participating in some form of gambling. People with money and people without money are making gaming/gambling a mega business.

From kitchen poker games to ball games of all kinds, and horse betting and dog betting to dominoes more people participate in gambling than in any other sport. The biggest draw in the world of gambling is casino gambling. Everybody dreams of winning the mega bucks. The casinos will allow a lucky player to win big money sporadically. The newspaper headlines spread the news “Ten Million Dollar Jackpot won on Dollar Machine.” Just the headlines suckers need to see. They will keep coming …knowing that the machines are programmed, but feeling so lucky that they know that they will be the next big winner. By the time one realizes that this is not his lucky day, he has spent the mortgage, the grocery money and has forgotten about the baby’s milk. Who’s the loser?
