StarCraft 2 Units Guide – The Best Assault Combinations

[ad_1]

Having a good StarCraft 2 units guide is very important. It is not enough to know everything about the race you are playing. To be really effective in a match, you need to know everything about the other races as well. Only then will you be able to win matches easily without depending on luck.

The most common strategies used by players are to attack very early in the game, or rush. So it is very important to know exactly what units you can use to be very effective against the enemy. That's where my little StarCraft 2 units guide comes along. I will show you the best and versatile combination of units you can use to rush your opponent successfully.

Terran Assault

The first units you can make are the Marines, then the Marauders and Reapers. Use the Marines with Marauders and add a few Reapers in the mix to.

The Marines do very good damage to any unit type and can also hit air targets. The Marauders do double damage to armored units while the Reapers do a lot of damage to structures.

You can even use the Reapers to engage the enemy defenses from behind while your Marines and Marauders fight the main army. Reapers should be first used to take out key structures, like Bunkers, Missile Turrets, Cannons, Pylons or Spine Crawlers.

Protoss Assault

The first units you can make with this race are the Zealots and then Stalkers and Sentries. Use all three of them with Zealots being more numerous, then Stalkers and one or two Sentries for support with abilities.

The Zealot should have Charge and be in front. Once you engage the enemy, make sure you trap them using the Zealots and hit them from range with the Stalkers. Use the Sentries to cast Guardian Shield and to deal ranged damage as well. The Stalkers and Sentries can hit air targets so you will be well covered.

Zerg Assault

What you will be going for are Zerglings with Roaches and a few Queens for air defense. In order to make the Roaches, you'll need to build Roach Warren.

The Zerglings are meant to absorb most of the first waves of damage from the enemy, while the Roaches hit from range. Keep the Queens out of the battle until you make sure that there are not any air targets. They deal pretty low damage on ground targets so only use them if you really need them.

I hope this StarCraft 2 units guide will be as helpful to you as it was to me. I use these combinations all the time and even later in the game. They are very well balanced and work really well because they do not cost much and they can inflate large amounts of damage.

However, to really master the game, using this or any other StarCraft 2 units guide is not enough. You'll need to learn how to improve your speed in the game, what strategies to use against each race and much more. For that you'll need a more complete guide.
