Hard Drive
The Hard Drive is where everything gets placed. Do you download lots of videos and music?
If you do then you might want to get some extra hard drive space. Computer programs are getting bigger and larger . This means that you are going to need to have more and more hard drive space.
So be sure to get enough hard drive space to meet your needs. 60GB is probably good enough for most people. If you do a lot of downloading then maybe get a little more.
Disk Drive
Finally there is the disk drive. This is what you place your CD's and DVD's in. Almost all laptops come with the ability to play both CD's and DVD's.
The real thing you want to think about is whether or not you want to have a CD and / or DVD burner. This allows you to put computer files, music, and movies onto a CD or DVD.
This may come in handy if you start to have way too much stuff on your hard drive. You can simply burn files from your hard drive to a CD and then that can free up some Hard Drive space.
