I was doing some research the other day and … let's face it ladies, everyone does not have the big bucks to fly to Miami or Las Vegas for a bachelorette party. What I learned is that for the most part, bachelorette parties are held close to home.
A fun filled evening can consist of many different options, but what I found is there are two very popular options. The one I am going to talk about in this post is that the maid of honor rents a limo for the bride and the girls in the bridal party all chip in to pay for the limo. They rent the limo for an entitlement evening. Most of the time there is a set fee associated with renting the limo.
The maid of honor and the bridesmaids typically choose the destination for the evenings events. Sometimes they go for a wild party and other times it's a big more low key. But in this scenario, these girls are wild and most have chosen to visit a strip club of some sort where they can party and the bride is the center of attention. These strip clubs can get really down and dirty. Some of the clubs will provide a private party room if the girls choose to go that route. But most times, the girls want to be in where all the action is.
One interesting fact is that if the girls have their choice of going to a male or female strip club. They usually choose a female club. Girls like girls, whipped cream, boobs and dollar bills. We were invited along on a bachelorette party recently and were taken to a very high end upscale strip club on the upper east side of New York City. They strippers were classy and extremely sexy. The bachelorette and her bridal entourage were separated in the front row along the stage of where the female strippers performed. The bachelorette was centrally located and prepared with plenty of dollar bills. From time to time a stripper was asked by the bridal entourage to perform lap dances on the bachelorette who was totally into the whole scene. The entourage even visited a private backroom with a few of the strippers for private viewing. I was invited to the back room with the entourage once and the amount of lipstick swapping was incredible. The girls were grinding, boob bumping and moving to the music and did not miss a beat …. nor did they miss having any men around. It was all about the bachelorette.
So, do not think that you have to fly on a jet plane to have an awesome bachelorette party. The girls bought bachelorette party supplies, a bridal veil for the bachelorette and they even worn bachelorette t-shirts for a wet t-shirt contest at the strip club. No matter what you choose to do, have fun and enjoy your Girls Last Night Out!
