2) Treat your business like a business.

Many of us have had hobbies in our lives ie. stamp collecting, coin collecting, trading cards, collecting antiques … etc. These are all wonderful endeavors, but how much time and energy do you really devote to them? Hobbies a simply that ….. hobbies. They are done in your spare time. They may make you some money in the very long haul, but most hobbies are not intended to diversify income yet many people treat their home business with a "hobby" mentality.

Imagine operating a brick & mortar business with the attitude of "I'll work my business when I get around to it". You do not have to make yourself available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, but a simple hobby mentality is just not going to cut it you want to develop a profitable home business. Treat it like a business because that is what it is.

Once you have made the decision to own a home business, consider yourself Donald Trump! Everything you do during every minute of your day will effect how well your home business does. Do ONE productive thing to promote your home business everyday. Remember that you are not collecting stamps anymore. Move forward! Think, talk, dress, and walk like a millionaire until you have convinced yourself that you are.

We all want our home businesses to succeed. If you treat your business like a hobby, it will pay you like a hobby. Treat it like a business, and it will pay you like a business.

To your personal and financial success in life!
