Meaning of the True Education

There has been an increasing demand for educated people to take part in the social and economic development of the economies of the world. Their contribution to gross domestic product's growth is immense. The purpose of education is to produce high quality human resources. Many students do try to get education from reputed institutions to enhance their knowledge.

Education is life. There is a lot of difference between the educated and the uneducated. There are several incidents of ignorance and committing suicides. Many farmers do not know fully the various methods to adopt for a better output. A few farmers did commit suicide due to lack of awareness about various agricultural policies, and also methods of cultivation.

In some incidents, the uneducated parents cannot guide their children well. In such cases, their children might not lead a better life. Drop outs, failures, scoring lesser marks, improper career, objectionable behavior, etc are some of the consequences of ignorance and lack of education.

In some other incidents, the lack of awareness and education would lead to improper health management. The uneducated people do not know the management of their own diet. Improper and unhealthy food habits would lead to several lethal diseases.

High quality human resources is one of the major requirements for the economic development of the economies of the world. The highly educated persons should be role models for many and thus ideal citizens too. All of our scientific and advanced research achievements are due to the efforts of highly educated people.

In ancient days, the primitive people were unaware of and ignorant of several aspects of life such as food, shelter, etc. Hence, they used to follow certain superstitions.

In the process of educating oneself, certain qualities need to be acquired, such as,

attitude, ability, awareness, boldness, behavior, conduct, creativity, character, dutiful, discipline, effectiveness, efficiency, faithfulness, focus, good thoughts, good deeds, good will, hard work, honesty, humbleness, ideal, innovative, intellect, joyful, kindness, love, leadership skills, morality, mental strength, nobility, optimism, omniscient, patience, punctuality, politeness, responsible, role model, secular, sincerity, systematic, talent, truthful, tolerant, urbane, versatility, yeomen service, etc.

The educational institutions, educational managers, researchers in the field of education, policy makers, the governments, politicians, officials concerned, and the teachers need to introspect and check whether the students are becoming the true leaders of tomorrow.

Several better modifications need to be brought in the field of education to produce ideal human resources.
