Review of "True Believers," A Book by Nicholas Sparks

[ad_1]

Nicholas Sparks is one of my favorite writers when it comes to romantic novels. He is an American writer whose novels have become internationally popular. Some of his works are The notebook, Message in a bottle, The guardian, Walk to remember, The Rescue, The wedding, The choice, At first sight, Dear John, The best of me, The last song and many more. He has a knack of storytelling with beautiful plots and characterization.

Mostly his works end with a unpredictable tragic note which leaves the reader deeply touched. One will be compelled to read and reread his novels with time again. Undoubtedly, sparks is truly one of the best in the genre of romantic fiction.

Love is one of the most vital mysteries that remain unexplained over ages. When love happens, it just happens. Why and how the phenomenon takes place, practically no one can answer. Sparks has beautifully portrayed this very emotion of love in this book – True Believers, like in all his other books. It is a matured, passionate, deeply moving love story which will leave a lasting impression on the minds of the readers. Book lovers! This book would find a place in your book shelf. Go for it!!

The story is narrative perceived by a New York based investigative journalist who receives a letter citing the ghostly supernatural phenomenon happened in a tiny town called Boone Creek, North Carolina.

Irresistible, he decides to investigate the truth and make a story for his column in a Journal. In the process he meets a girl who runs the town library. He finds her confident and honest but mysterious. With time they come to know a lot about each other, slowly but steadily that leads to an intimate relationship, maybe love. Both have experienced heart throbs reminiscent of their past relationships, hence are unwilling to take their intimacy forward. Considering it just a fling they resolve not to take it any further and part ways. Unwittingly fate takes its own twists and turns. Love has a beautiful way to unleash itself and so it does for the two.

“True Believer” is a story stretched between choices and chances in a given situation. And of course the story also brings out the conflicts between professional passion and the human relationship. The power of love surpasses all impossible and unexpected and makes one to believe that after all it stands unshaken even in the toughest circumstances.
